Newsletter – September 22, 2019

Dear Members,

With the arrival of Spring and school holidays, preparations for the forthcoming season at Fairhaven are well underway.

Please see information below regarding Membership Renewals / Nipper registration / Bronze Camp / Skills Maintenance (Requal) plus a list of dates for your diary.

Memberships

All members should have recently received a membership renewal email and instructions.
(Check your junk mail if you can’t find it!)

Please renew your membership as soon as possible to spread our administrative burden and avoid the Xmas rush.

Membership revenue is vital in assisting the club to provide the programs and services that it does.

We are grateful to each and every one of our members for their support.

Nipper Registration Season 2019/20

Welcome to another Nipper Season at Fairhaven. Registrations open on Oct 1 so get your membership renewals sorted now, save your payment receipt details & get ready to sign the kids up. The process is certainly much easier for returning members than it used to be, & with your family set up properly & all linked on the portal, you should be able to renew & pay in under 5 minutes!

Please see Nipper dates below. It’s a very tight calendar this year because of when Christmas falls, so we have just had to adapt around that to squeeze in our 6 sessions.

Swimming Proficiency is also easier this season, as we have added an electronic form to the Fairhaven App. So goodbye paper forms, you can just load the electronic version on your phone, & have a pool life guard or swim instructor sign it with their finger & you are done.

If you haven’t already done so, please download the Fairhaven SLSC app for iPhone or Android. In the main menu, tap eForms, then tap Junior Preliminary Skills Evaluation.

Enter Name/DOB/ appropriate age group (from drop down menu)

Click Yes under the declaration and then add Name of Assessor and their position. They can sign in the blank box using their finger. Then hit “View Summary and Submit”
