Welcome to Season 2022/2023!
Fairhaven Surf Life Saving Club has been proudly serving the local Surfcoast community since 1957 and operates essential lifesaving services on funds generated through sponsorship, grants, donations and membership fees.
For current members, you’ll notice some changes have been made to the payment and renewal process as well as changes to the Membership Categories and Fees.
Membership fees and training course payments can now all made upfront via our new Fairhaven Club Store. Following payment you’ll be automatically directed to the SLSA Members Portal for membership processing. If you’re a current Fairhaven member please have your SLSA login details handy before you make a start.
We hope these changes make renewing and joining Fairhaven SLSC a more accessible, simpler process. And for new members we look forward to you joining us.

STEP 1 – Read the new Membership Categories/Fees Information
To better reflect the way our members and their families contribute to Fairhaven SLSC we’ve changed our membership categories and the fee structure for season 2022/23. It is likely that there is some change that may affect you or your family so please review the provided information carefully.
When you’re joining or renewing it’s important that you select the membership category that best suits you and/or your family.
If are joining Fairhaven SLSC you will need a membership for every member of your family that’s going to be involved (including parents/guardians of Nippers).

STEP 2 – Confirm/Obtain your Working with Children Check (WWCC)
All members aged 18 years and older must hold a WWCC and Membership cannot be processed without one. If you already hold a WWCC with another organisation you must update your WWCC by adding Fairhaven SLSC and Life Saving Victoria to your list of organisations.

Apply for, renew or update a WWCC: www.workingwithchidren.vic.gov.au
STEP 3 – Pay, Renew or Join for Season 2022/23
To join Fairhaven SLSC or renew your membership you need to:
- Pay your membership fees via Fairhaven Club Store
- Join/renew membership via the SLSA Member portal
To make a payment click the “Pay Now” button below. You’ll be taken to the new Fairhaven Club Store where you will need to add the appropriate memberships or family fee option to the shopping cart and make your payment.
You can also choose to pay any course fees for the upcoming season as well however this is optional and should only be done after registering for that course (see below).
Once you have paid for your membership fee, you will be automatically directed to the SLSA Members Portal to complete the membership process.
Note: when you get to the payment section on the SLSA Members Portal choose an option from the price list (all will have a $0 value) and complete the transaction.
Just a reminder to ensure you renew memberships for each person in your family group.
